Catholic Bazaar 2008

I've lived in the town that we live in nearly my entire life (take out 2 weeks right after Stephen and I got married and about 2 years right after I was born). Our local Catholic church has a HUGE bazaar on the first Saturday of every October and I had never been...until last night. My Dad was out of town, so Mom wanted to stay busy and asked us to go with her (she'd never been either!). They have authentic Mexican food (we tried the enchiladas and taquitos), BBQ plates, hamburgers and hot dogs, baked goods, fruit bowls, and more! There were games set up for the kids and a silent auction. It was so much fun! It was a great time to visit with friends and see just about everyone in our community...

Paige had a great time-imagine that! She was very into playing the games and of course, the food.

Here's Paige chowing down on some nachos...with Sprite in the orange Dora the Explorer sippie cup!And here she is showing us just how much cheese sauce she can accumulate on her face while eating the nachos!

After we left the Bazaar, Stephen and Doyle had to run their 11 miles for their marathon training and Paige and I went to Mom's to hang out and wait on him to finish. Paige loves to play with Mom and Dad's dogs, Kipper and Mollie. She especially loves playing with Kipper's pantyhose collection...he's a weird dog and likes to play with the pantyhose that Mom has run. Anyway, Kipper wasn't in the playing mood last night but that didn't stop Paige! Here's what happened:

It started out innocently, with Paige just holding the pantyhose and trying to entice Kipper to play.It quickly turned into putting the pantyhose on Gran's head.......and then trying to pull them off! Then it was Paige's turn to put them on her head! And here she is again...she's cute even through the pantyhose!
