Last Wednesday after school I took Paige to our local strawberry patch. I’m not a strawberry fan at all, but Stephen and Paige LOVE them. The berry farm provides a gallon bucket for you to pick your strawberries and drop them in and it’s only $6 per gallon when you pick them yourself…so much cheaper than buying them at the grocery store! Paige was an absolute pro at picking just the right strawberries. She would leave the ones that were still too small and the ones that weren’t the right shade of red just yet.
An Army helicopter flew over the strawberry patch while we were there…she was quite taken with watching it!
Look at our haul! It took us about 45 minutes to pick this many. Next time we may not even pick this much because it’s hard to eat that many before they go bad!
