Yesterday I needed to do some crafting to get my mind off of some frustrations. It was during naptime so there was no running to the store to find a project...it had to be something laying around the house.

I've had this cutting board for probably 4 years, but it's been in a kitchen cabinet for at least 2 years. I used to have it as a decorative piece on my kitchen counters, but it lost its appeal to me and I just put it away. But yesterday I was glad I had kept it because it was getting a facelift! The weather here was perfect for spray painting, so I took it outside and sprayed it using my spray chalkboard paint! 2 coats and a bow later, here's the outcome:
I can change the writing out anytime, but I thought our monogram was a great starting point. I had all the supplies for this project on hand so it cost me $0!
