Kelly's Korner (http://www.kellyskorner.blogspot.com/) is hosting a "Your Favorite Room" day. She showed all of us her kitchen and it's beautiful! While I love my big kitchen, I think my favorite room in our house is our living room. We spend most of our time in there...playing, watching tv, even eating dinner on some nights! So....here's my living room!
This is our living room...looking from the dining room. The front door is to the right.
This is the view from right inside the front door. We've had this couch since we got married 5 years ago and we really want another one, but neither of us can part with this one! First of all, it was FREE! And we can both lay on it if we take the pillows off. It's the most comfie couch EVER!
This is the view from the corner next to the couch. You can see our recliner (where the blogging "magic" happens!) You can also see Paige watching Noggin...the best thing ever!
Here's an upclose picture of my favorite part of the living room...the mantle! I love, love, love the "Welcome To Our Home" plaque and wrought iron stand. I also love the candles and pictures...some of my favorites!
And this is my dining room....I know, not part of my living room, but I love to entertain and have friends over so much that I had to show where that happens. Our dining room is small, but I love it because it basically is just an extension of the kitchen. To the right you can see our bar stools...they sit at the counter that is part of the kitchen. My mom bought us the table and chairs 2 years ago for our Christmas present. It was one of the first pieces of "big" furniture that we owned. I love it!

So random...I found your blog through Kelly. She is one of my very best friends! BUT I went to elementary school with your husband. I grew up in Ozark and then moved to Little Rock. In fact my roommate, Holly Shaffer, is someone you know...I think.
Anyway, it is such a small world!

Came over from Kelly! I loved seeing your favorite room. My husband and I think the best couch IS one that we can both lay on. We call it a DC (double couch)! So, I don't blame you for not parting with it. Ha! And yes, thank goodness for Noggin!
Oohh!! Blogging in a recliner must be HEAVENLY!! Love your pictures...and I love the fact that you and the hubby can both fit on the couch if you take the pillows off. Now that's a couch worth keeping!

Oh my goodness...so I came over from kelly's ( we went to college together) and even with your blog title and picture I didn't clue in until I saw a comment of someone being from ozark. Then when i looked at all the pictures I was saying oh my I know her! This is patti blackard and I grew up in clarksville.
I live in texas now and I am also a stay at home mom with a two year old. I also blog but my blog isn't as cute as yours. I love your header.
You little girl is precious. I knew you were married but I didn't realize you had a little one. I'm sure she's not spoiled at all by your parents. :)
