Show Us Your Life…Master Bedroom

I love looking at the decorating styles of others, so I thoroughly enjoy Kelly’s “Show Us Your Life” series. This week everyone is showing off their Master Bedrooms…here’s ours.

 

This is the view of our bedroom from the door.  Our bed is just about my favorite piece of furniture in the entire house.  It just makes me feel so grown up!

This is my bedside table (complete with a peek of the boppy pillow in the corner and Ryan’s basket full of diapers, wipes, extra clothes, and burp cloths).  Our table lamps were used in Paige’s bedroom before we moved to our new house.

This is the view from standing right in front of my bedside table.  The full length mirror was made by my godfather many years ago.  It’s traveled with me from my parent’s house!

This is a view of our vanity/sink area that is directly off of our master bedroom.  I wasn’t sure if I’d like this layout at first, but I’ve really come to love having it this way.

This is on the wall beside my side of the bed.  I love actually getting to have my hope chest in our house-it’s the first house I’ve had room for it in!  I made my wall art using painter’s canvas from Hobby Lobby and covering them with fabric and trimming each of them with decorative tacks. 

Close-up of the stuff on top of the hope chest…I made the Banning sign and re-did the blue vase (it used to be leopard print!).

 

We really enjoy our bedroom (or at least I do…I don’t think Stephen honestly cares about the decor!)  To be honest, though, I’m wanting to re-paint the bathroom.  It’s currently the robin’s egg blue color and I’m wanting a grayish blue color.  I’m trying not to make a rash decision!
