2 months old!

Ryan,

I can’t believe that you are already 2 months old!  These past 8 1/2 weeks have really flown by.  When I think back to 2 months before you were born, I remember thinking that the last 2 months of my pregnancy would just drag on and on…and now to think about how quickly these 2 months have gone by baffles me.  We can hardly remember what life was like before you were a part of our family.  You complete us and we are so glad that you are here!  Here’s what you’re up to these days:

*At your 8 week checkup last week, you weighed 11 pounds and 8 ounces!  You are 23 inches long and absolutely perfect. 

*You wear size 1 diapers and mostly 0-3 month clothes.

*You’ve recently discovered your tongue and it’s hilarious to watch you “play” with it.

*We love your giggle and your smile. 

*You definitely recognize my voice, your Daddy’s voice, and Paige’s voice.

*You are such a good boy at Daddy’s football games! 

*You’ve been sleeping through the night (about 10 hours) for about 1 1/2 weeks…Praise!  Before you were sleeping all the way through the night, you would go to bed around 9pm, sleep until 3:30am or so, eat, and go right back to bed for another 4 hours.  Our days go much better since you are sleeping at night and so is Mommy!

We love you so much Ryan and we couldn’t be happier about you being the last piece to our family puzzle!
