Our child...the Craps Stickman

While I was painting our master bedroom last week Stephen was in charge of keeping Paige occupied. Playing craps in his mini casino was how he chose to do that. Stephen would roll the dice and actually try to make bets with his chips while Paige was in control of the craps stick. By the way, why would someone name a game Craps? That's just horrible. Anyway, I took a much needed fresh air break and found these two involved in an intense game.

Is it normal to teach 2 year olds how to gamble? Better yet, is it normal to teach 2 year olds how to run the tables? She may have been better off sucking in paint fumes with me!

That is hilarious! I left Dani when she was about 3 with my Dad one time and came back a couple hours later to her casting out a fishing pole with a funnel tied to the end of it! He said she wanted to go fishing and so he let her. When she was 5 he let her drag out my mom's formal dining room chairs onto the front porch and throw a blanket over it so she could pretend to camp. My mom was not so happy! LOL! What would I do if Daniel was like that too?

Yes, start them off early! You never know when a gambling preschooler will come in handy. Plus, you can't knock bonding time.

Which reminds me, I should pull out the poker table...
