“Camping”

I AM NOT a camper…I’ve never been camping (tent or camper) and I don’t have the intention of ever going.  It’s just not my thing.  Stephen’s family, however, enjoys it.  His sister and her family have been camping on the Arkansas River all week and last night we decided to go and visit…and eat BBQ.  The BBQ offer put it over the top! 

Paige loves spending time with her cousins, Tatum and Kelby. 

She definitely enjoyed riding on the scooter with Tatum! 

Paige’s favorite part of the night might have been when a train went by and she actually got to see it moving!  There’s always one that is parked on some of the tracks, but she rarely gets to see another train actually in motion…

We stayed at the campsite longer than we had planned to, but all the kids were enjoying playing together and we were enjoying sitting around and visiting!  The temperatures here this week have been so much nicer than they were last week and there was a great breeze blowing off of the water.  I honestly got a little chilly!  Paige was so tired that she slept until almost 9 am this morning…that was nice!
