Ryan’s Room #2

I’m so ready for the paint in Ryan’s room to be completed.  This time last week it was fun and I was looking forward to seeing the transformation.  Now, I’m through with the fun and it’s just a horrible chore that needs to be finished!  Yesterday Stephen and I started taking the “clean release” tape off of the trim and from around the white stripe.  It didn’t go so well.  The tape peeled some of the paint off the walls.  I spent about 3 hours yesterday afternoon going around the room with a foam craft brush making the stripe have straight edges.  I have to go back and do navy touch ups today.  I’m really praying all of the paint is put away after today…I’m done with it!

My mom and I are going to WalMart to start a registry for Ryan this morning.  I wasn’t planning on doing any registries (except at a friend’s children’s store) since this is our 2nd child, but I’ve been told that because it’s a different gender than our first child I should register for at least a few things.  We’re needing a 2nd baby monitor to put in the living room…we still have the monitor we have in Paige’s room and in our bedroom.  And we also need a bouncy seat…I gave mine away after Paige was done using it and now I honestly can’t remember who I gave it to!

I am glad the blue turned navy instead of staying a more royal blue.  I wasn’t enjoying the royal blue at all.
