Finally Official

I can finally proudly announce that Stephen has been promoted to the Head Junior High football coach!  It’s been a VERY long time coming.  In fact, we were talking about it last night and it’s been “on the table” in some form or another for about 7 years now.  We’ve had to battle school boards that were against us, superintendents that were against us, and a pesky nepotism policy that didn’t even apply in our situation.  BUT, we waited it all out and trusted in the Lord’s perfect timing and finally we are in this place.  It’s Stephen’s goal to be a Head football coach for a High School team eventually and this is a definite step in that direction. 

Within the last 7 months, Stephen has graduated with his Master’s degree, been promoted to Head softball coach, and now Head Jr High football coach.  We are very thankful for this new opportunity in our lives!
