Seniors 2008

On Tuesday afternoon, we had a ceremony before our softball game honoring this year's Seniors. These girls have been with us since they were 9th graders and it's extremely difficult to let them go! Some may say that I'm crazy, but I would trust these girls with my child...they are like our kids...that we would have had when we were 9 years old! We have watched these girls develop into young ladies and we're excited to see what God has in store for them in the future. We pray that we have imparted at least a little bit of wisdom to them and provided a Godly marriage example for them. Anyway, back to the ceremony...we had their uniforms from last year framed for them and we also gave them a stuffed Panther (our mascot). We had their parents meet them at home plate then escort them to their position in the field. It was really quite neat to see it all unfold. The afternoon was one that I honestly thought would never happen...I kind of thought they'd just stick around forever! They were all crying and I was too. After their uniform presentation, they gave Stephen and the other coach a framed picture of all of the Seniors, as well as a very nice picture album with action shots. We will never forget the CHS Class of 2008...Ladies, you'll be with us forever!
