We took Paige to the zoo for the first time in October of 2006...she was really probably too young to enjoy any of the animals, but it was a fun family outing nonetheless! We neglected to make it back during the fall of 2007, but Spring Break 2008 seemed like a great time to take Paige back! She's really into naming animals now and making all of their sounds, so we knew that she would enjoy herself. We were right! The weather was gorgeous that day and the zoo was packed with people. It was really neat to see all the families enjoying themselves together...except when I had to wait in a line for nearly an hour just to order our lunch! Then, they were out of almost everything on the menu! Oh well, everything can't be perfect, can it? We had a great time as a family anyway...and Paige crashed in the Explorer as soon as we hit the interstate home.
