What a difference a year makes...

There's a hotel in our community that celebrates community birthdays by posting the names of people who are having a birthday on their marquee. Last year, my mom requested that Paige's name be on the sign for her first birthday, and they did it! I was not expecting her name to be on the sign this year, but to my surprise, it was! Paige and I were making our weekly trip to Walmart and happened to see her name. We went home and grabbed Daddy and the camera for our annual photo shoot. It's something so small, but so special to our family!

I think I'm done reminiscing about Paige's birthday now...one week later! I just can't believe that she's getting so old. Last night while we were all laying in our bed (before we put Paige in her own bed for the night) we were saying our prayers and I asked her if she wanted to pray. She answered yes. She said "Pray Hannah" (Hannah is our oldest niece who just had surgery on her ear). We said "Ok, we'll pray for Hannah." I told her to say "Dear God" and then pray for Hannah. She did just that...she said "Dear God, pray Hannah, Amen." It was the most precious moment EVER! Then she prayed for her friend Ty, Mommy and Daddy, Nanny and Papa, and Mamaw and Papaw JB. I know that God knew exactly what she was praying for...that could be the most amazing thing of all!
