Last Monday was Paige's actual birthday, so we invited my parents and sister as well as Stephen's parents and 2 of his nieces over for BBQ chicken, grilled potatoes and bread, and baked beans. We had a blast! Paige was of course a ham and entertained everyone with her Elmo impression. I baked "The Best Chocolate Sheet Cake EVER", courtesy of http://www.thepioneerwomancooks.com/ . I later found out it's also known as Texas Sheet Cake...either way, it was delicious! Stephen helped out with the cake by spelling "Paige" out on the cake with Paige's favorite candy-M&Ms! He did a great job, too!
This is Paige sitting in her Dora chair on the dining room table...I know, I know! She has started dragging her chair all over the house and sitting in it-on the couch, in the recliner-anywhere!
Paige's 4th Birthday cake for her 2nd birthday-overkill? It's super cute and tasty too!
Please excuse the horrible look on my face and my lack of make-up...I had been cooking and baking all afternoon for this shin-dig! Paige was terribly excited to see her cake with the candles lit!
Then Paige became petrified of the candles!
But she decided to blow the candles out anyway-she did it all by herself! Way to go Paige!
