Spring Break Begins!

As I'm sitting here in my recliner with my daughter sitting next to me, I'm reminded of how sweet life is...even when curveballs are thrown your direction. Yesterday was quite a stressful day for me. We found out that our State Finals softball game starts an hour after my sister's wedding....and they are 2 hours away from each other! Obviously I have to be at the wedding, and Stephen was going to miss the game too. But last night the head coach told him his obligation was to the team first....which is totally backwards in my opinion, but what do I know? I don't want to think about him not being there, so we'll just cross that bridge when we get there.

We have 2 softball games tonight! We're making up the game from Tuesday that got cancelled because of rain at 3:30. Then at 5:00 we're playing the game that is actually scheduled for today. Busy night to say the least!

Tomorrow is Paige's 2nd birthday party! We're having a ladybug themed party at the park...her favorite place in the world! I've ordered a 2 layer cake, but last night I started panicking and thinking that wouldn't be enough...so this morning my mom called and ordered 2 cupcake "cakes" that are shaped like ladybugs. I know how many people I invited, but I have no idea how many will come...plus I told our softball girls that they can come, so who knows who will show up! Oh well, the more the merrier!

Next week I think our family is planning on taking a 3 day drip to Branson. We need to get away and relax for awhile. We'll plan on going to Silver Dollar City and Dixie Stampede. Paige will LOVE both of those!

I've got to paint my toenails and Paige's TODAY. Plus my house needs to be cleaned. BUT toenails first...priorities, you know!
