This past weekend, only 2 days after the schools were out for SNOW, Spring showed us it's gorgeous face! Sunday afternoon was really nice. We headed to Stephen's parent's house for his sister's birthday lunch. After we ate, everyone headed outside to enjoy the weather and Paige's bat and ball set became the hit of the party. Here's Paige swinging the bat...

Here's another...

Paige was so tired and it was so far past her normal naptime that she fell asleep like this in the Explorer on the way home....

When we got home, Paige laid down for a short nap and since it was still nice outside we took her for a walk around the block. We tried to show her how to ride her bicycle, but the first time it tipped over, she was done. I did manage a quick photo of her before she gave up on the bicycle...

After she ditched her bicycle, we put her in her wagon and took a trip around the block...

We had a really great afternoon outside...and boy was I ready for the warm up! I decided since I could tolerate being outside for more than a minute at a time that I would grill BBQ chicken and potatoes outside! I added some baked beans to the meal and it was delicious! We opened up all the windows in the house to let some warm, fresh air in as well. I even picked some flowers from our yard...

We've continued to enjoy the warmer weather from this week. I only hope that the thunderstorms that the meteorologists are predicting somehow holds off until after our tournament is over Saturday night!
