Ryan’s First Shower

*First, I’m still pregnant! I went to the doctor yesterday afternoon and I am dilated to 2-3 cm, so I’m a walking time bomb.*

On July 25, my sister-in-law, Amanda hosted a beautiful baby shower for Ryan.  We had a lot of fun and had fabulous cake!

Don’t you want some cake now?  It’s not only the cutest thing you’ve ever seen, but it was so YUMMY!  The baseball bat has “Ryan” on it and the “C” is for the team Stephen coaches. 

We decorated the table with some of our Family/Maternity pictures that we had taken recently…I just remembered I haven’t blogged about those yet!

Stephen’s brother, who is also a football coach, picked this onesie, bib, and booties out especially for Ryan during his trip to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.  He told Amanda (his wife) that he just had to have it for Ryan and didn’t even realize they came in sizes!  Thankfully he still did really well with a 6-9 month onesie!

This could be my favorite present…apparently, my Dad who coaches the Warriors didn’t like the fabric that I picked out for Ryan’s diaper bag.  Quite honestly, Stephen wasn’t crazy about it either but he got the vintage sports nursery and I had to implement something that wasn’t sports into Ryan’s diaper bag.  Anyway, Dad ordered new uniforms for his basketball team this summer, so he had the older ones just sitting in the equipment room at the gym.  He texted, yes TEXTED, Leslie and asked if she could use one of the uniforms for a diaper bag for Ryan.  This is the end result…Amazing, right?!  I LOVE IT.  It’s really huge, too. Imagine a Moses basket and that’s literally how big it is!
