Cupcakes for Daddy

It’s Thursday which means GAME DAY at our house!  Since tonight is a home game, I cook dinner for the coaches for after the game and we always have a dessert too.  Paige got to stay up during nap today to help me make and decorate the cupcakes.

Her first job was to put the cupcake liners (MVP version, of course) into the cupcake tray.

Then she got to be the official egg cracker!

Then it was time to put them into the oven!

Once the cupcakes were cool enough, we made RED RED icing (using food coloring gel…first time to use it and I’ll never use anything else again! It was actually red, not hot pink)!

Now, Paige got to put the football picks that I made into some of the cupcakes.

ALL DONE! and ready to eat after we beat the SandLizards tonight!  GO PANTHERS!
