I’ve been seeing lots of yarn wreaths on the internet and I wanted to make one, but our Wal*Mart doesn’t carry any wreath forms other than the wood based ones. I hadn’t made a trip to Hobby*Lobby until this past Saturday when I went with my SIL to help with Homecoming decorations for Friday night. I was able to score the wreath form for $3.99, the yarn was $2.89 a roll and I used just over half of the roll to wrap the entire wreath, the feather picks (there are 12) were on sale for 50 cents each so $6 total, and the zebra print balls were on a stick together that was on sale for $1. So, for about $14 I was able to create a new wreath for my front door that is perfect for Panther football season! I am planning to keep the red base and use it in October with Fall accessories, and then again in December with Christmas accessories. I’ve seen similar wreaths on Etsy for upwards of $50-$60. I’ll take $14 anyday!
