Phew! What a day this has been so far...and it's only 3:30 in the afternoon. Last night we went to Charleston to watch my Dad's basketball game-I think that was a big mistake! I just about lost my cool with a fan from the other team. Let's just say that they were speakly harshly of my Daddy and I got really protective, really fast. I think I surprised my husband and father-in-law! Needless to say, I barely got any sleep last night and then I woke up this morning to Paige running a fever on top of her severe congestion, watery eyes, and gunky eyes. I immediately began trying to call her pediatrician, but of course got the answering machine. I left a message explaining the situation to them and asking that they please call me back with an appointment time. In the meantime, I tried to call our hometown doctor's office to get her seen here, but nobody had any availability. Finally at 10:30 this morning, Paige's pediatrician called me back and said I could bring her in at 1:30 this afternoon. We made the trip 30 miles down the road and found out that Paige has a sinus infection...doesn't seem like much, but my baby girl is really yucky feeling! I'm thankful that we have a diagnosis and we now have 2 antibiotics to help cure the infection. Paige is now resting in her crib, but she won't be able to stay that way for long. She has her first haircut this afternoon at 4:45!!! I'm just getting the ends trimmed up a bit in hopes that it will stimulate some growth! Tonight we're hoping to get to go to our niece's basketball game. Stephen leaves town for the weekend tomorrow night, so we'll be hanging out with my parents most of the time.
I'm taking my camera with me to the salon, so I'll post pictures later...along with the Build a Bear pictures that have STILL not made it on here! :)
