Paige and Ty

Last night the Junior High and High School had P/T conferences from 3:30-8:00 pm. Some of our best friends both work with Stephen and at Junior High and they have a little boy, Ty, would is just 7 weeks younger than Paige. I offered a week or so ago to keep Ty while they had conferences....the kids had a blast together and I wondered why we hadn't done it before??!! I picked Ty up from his school at around 3:30 and by the time we got home, it was 3:45. Ty normally takes a nap after he gets home from school and since Paige didn't get a great nap while at Nanny's yesterday, I thought I'd try to lay them down at the same time. Much to my surprise, it was a success! Both babies slept for around an hour and a half! I fed them supper after they woke up and then we headed to Fred's for necessities...diapers, laundry detergent, and NyQuil! They loved riding in the cart together!

After Fred's, we went back home and started bathtime...fun for the babies! While my bathroom ended up looking much like a water park with all the splashing and dumping cups of water over each other's heads, it was fun for them and it really wasn't that messy!

When bathtime was over, I lotioned and clothed each baby and told them they could sit in the recliner together and watch some nighttime Noggin channel while eating popcorn...what a treat! I wasn't sure if Ty liked popcorn or not, but I know that Paige LOVES it (she is my child afterall and we do share some characteristics...not many, but some!).
All in all, I think these two had a great time together and we will definately have to do it more often!
