On MLK Day, Stephen and I took Paige and Ryan to Hogwild and then we went to Claire’s to look for a Homecoming crown for Paige.  We didn’t find the right crown, but we didn’t leave Claire’s empty-handed!  While we were there, I jokingly asked Paige if she wanted to get her ears pierced for the 2nd time (she had her first set of earrings put in when she was 7 months old).  At first Paige didn’t want to do it and that was just fine.  But a few minutes later, Paige said that she DID want to go for the 2nd piercing.  We picked out a pretty 3mm sterling silver ball earring and ended up having to wait about 15 minutes before the lady could get to us!  I thought she would for sure chicken out in that amount of time, but she was extremely brave.

She laughed hysterically at first, but then the tears started rolling.  She was still very, very brave and I was so proud of her!

A sucker made all the tears miraculously go away!

What other 4 year old has 2 earrings in each of her ears?!  I couldn’t believe that she went through with it, but I’m actually glad that it’s done.  This is her last piercing for a very long time!
