I took Paige to her 2nd Dentist appointment last Wednesday. She had her first appointment back in July and everything checked out perfectly. I didn’t have any reason to believe that this appointment would be any different, but I still got apprehensive. Paige, of course, was exceptional during the check-up. She remembered everything from her first visit and was excited to experience it all again! The hygienist was able to take x-rays of her teeth this time and she said Paige was the best 4 year old she’s ever seen while having x-rays taken. Her teeth looked wonderful and we could even see her 6 year molars…they aren’t through yet, but they were under her gum and ready to pop through!
The hygienist cleaned and flossed her teeth and then put on a flouride treatment. Dr. Leeds came in and took a look at her x-rays and then at her teeth and when I asked if everything looked ok he said “They look better than good, they look perfect!” Just what I wanted to hear!
Ryan had to wake up about an hour early from his normally 2 1/2 hour afternoon nap, but he was a trooper at Sissy’s dentist appointment. Won’t be too many years and I’ll have both of them at the dentist!
