Ryan is 10 months old! I’m already planning his first birthday party, which completely blows my mind. Seems like literally yesterday that it was June of 2010 and all I wanted to do was float in the pool or kick back in my recliner in the air conditioning! Here’s what Ryan is up to this month:
-Wearing a size 4 diaper
-Wearing mainly 12 month clothing
-We bought him his first pair of new Nikes…in a size 5! I was shocked.
-Ryan sleeps through the night still. He goes to sleep around 8:30 pm and sleeps until about 9 am everyday
-He eats 4 times a day…breakfast is a bottle and yogurt, lunch is a bottle and veggies & fruit, dinner is a bottle and veggies & fruit again, then a bottle alone before bedtime.
-Ryan is crawling all over the place now. He’s also pulling up and walking down the couch and around the coffee table. He has much more interest in being mobile than in being verbal.
-He does say “papa” and “hi”
-He can wave bye bye and has started to play peek-a-boo with us!
-Ryan is absolutely in love with his Sissy. He follows her everywhere he can and can just sit and watch her play.
-He’s very into “boy toys” already…anything that is big and loud, trucks, big equipment, etc.
-He loves Baby Mozart and Praise Baby DVDs.
-We’ve started allowing him to have some table food…and he loves it, of course!
-Ryan weighs 23 pounds and is 29 inches long. He’s in the 75th percentile for height and weight. His doctor said he needs to eat more! haha!
Ryan, We still love you like crazy! It’s definitely different to have a baby boy in the house, but we love it! Daddy adores tackling with you and teaching you to be tough. We can’t imagine life without our Ryan.
