Memorial Day 2011

Memorial Monday was the first time that Ryan got into a pool! We were invited to our LCBS’s (life changing Bible study) home for a cookout and swimming.  The water was super cold, even though the weather has been very warm…their pool is in the shade.  Paige could hardly stand being in the water and didn’t last long when she was in it.  Ryan actually wasn’t affected very much by the temperature of the water and handled it like a champ.  We didn’t let him stay in very long though because there were lots of older kids in the pool and we didn’t want him to become afraid of the pool. 

Paige is really enjoying her goggles and snorkel that Aunt Mandy, Uncle Doyle, and Ty gave her back in March for her birthday.  She uses them every time we are in a pool!

This was the best I could do in a picture of both Paige and Ryan.  They were hungry and all done at this point!  Oh well…there are several more of them together.  Which reminds me that I have new professional pictures that I need to post!
